I can’t say enough great things about Grey Matter Montessori. The management and teachers are all so friendly and welcoming:) This place has provided an amazing environment for my son to learn and grow. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to further their child’s sense of independence and creative learning.

I would strongly recommend this Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten to family and friends, the staff have excellent customer service and they all provide exceptional education to the students. We are truly proud that our daughter attends Grey Matter Montessori because of her development academically and socially. Furthermore, we love the fact that the students wear uniforms and participate in different educational creative activities throughout the school year. Words fail to express our gratitude to the teachers and staff at Grey Matter Montessori! Our child has been attend for only a few months, however each day they are excited to go to school and come home proud to share what they did that day.

We have been very impressed with the curriculum and guest teachers who have come to give dance classes, a visit from a dental hygienist, and a painting project to name a few of the activities.

The school uniform helps make life simple as a busy parent.

The teachers (Ms. Irene, Ms. Brenda, Ms Ihida to name a few - there are others too who I wish I could name by name as well but cannot remember their names) put in a lot of care and work into inspiring wonder and awe in the kids - a invaluable joy to learn and explore the world around them.

Shirin communicates to parents via monthly new letters to keep us up to date on activities and learn for the kids. This is greatly appreciated so as to help continue foster learning at home.

I would highly recommend Grey Matter Montessori to anyone looking for a preschool and kindergarten program for their child that truly inspires the joy of learning.

My son attends this preschool since he was 3.5 years old. At first when I was searching for a preschool for him, to say I was confused is an understatement, I was a nervous wreck. But then I came across grey matter Montessori, and decided to send him here. My decision was not wrong, everything about this school is perfect, the director Miss Shirin, the teachers and assistant teachers are perfect. And best of all they have a one to one dealing and give their full attention to each child. My son’s teacher Miss Claudia always cheers him up when he feels little low. This school is the best for any parent looking to enroll their child in a safe and healthy and learning environment.

It has taken me a few months to write this as life has gotten busy. My daughter, Scarlett went here since 2.5 years old and stayed for two years, absolutely loved it. Seeing how much she’s grown and learned made my heart really happy, and appreciative to all the teachers there. I would’ve put my younger daughter there if we didn’t have to move down south. It’s very difficult to find another preschool like this one. I’ve gone to tours to tours, and the quality is just not the same. I miss this school, Scarlett misses this school, and I really wish more parents know about this school as it’s really one-of-a-kind in this city. You won’t be disappointed!

When we first started our search for a Montessori school for our son, I had a wishlist - Grey Matter Montessori has provided that and much more. I am eternally grateful to the amazing and deeply caring teachers whom have nurtured, encouraged, and helped my son embrace who he is at 4 years old. In the past 2 years, we have seen him grow into a confident and caring little boy who loves to learn, laugh, and make friends. He is enjoying learning more Spanish, and often shares with us what he is learning about in school. He is just happy to go to school, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience has been. For these reasons, we are extremely grateful, and we highly recommend Grey Matter Montessori.

My daughter attended this preschool in 2016-2018 and we were very happy about her progress. The staff is very patient with children and they were accommodating to our requests. My daughter also enjoyed her show and tell which helped her with presentation and public speaking. I cannot wait for my son to be potty trained he is definitely going to attend Grey Matter as well❣️

My daughter attended preschool at Grey Matter. I noticed a big progress in my daughter both academically and socially. All the instructors are very professional and amazing at what they do. I never had an issue in terms of communication and calls/emails were always responded to in a timely manner. I highly recommend Grey Matter Montessori to any parent who is looking for a trustworthy environment for their kids.

My son was 3 years old when he first started at Grey Matter. Over his first year I noticed he developed quite a few new skills. He learned to perfectly recognize all the letters and their sounds and by the end of the year, he was able to sound out and read small words!

All the teachers and admin team always show a kind, nurturing, loving attitude towards all the children. A special shout-out to Ms. Claudia who worked more closely with my son.

My daughter goes to this school twice a week. It is her third day going to this school and I already see a difference. She is not even three yet (a little young for preschool) but luckily, she’s potty trained so she got accepted by the director. My daughter came home telling me how happy she was at school. By comparing the photos taken by the teacher of her first day and today, i can tell that my daughter’s telling the truth. Also, it’s only been my daughter’s third time going to school. My husband and I are so surprised to see her grabbing a brand new training diaper and putting it on the right way by herself after potty at home. She came back out with her training diaper on the right way, and washed her hands after touching her diaper.
I use to teach at a preschool that also doesn’t have a playground. This is a Montessori preschool with only 3 hours of class time. It’s understandable that they don’t have a playground for the kids to play at. Instead, this school provides extra activities that’s partnered up with our community businesses. I think this is a smart and nice idea—where local community businesses support one another. Just because there’s no playground, it doesn’t mean that this place is an unhealthy place for child learning.
Not many daycare/preschools require kids to wear masks. This school does. Everyone is stuck in this pandemic and I’m sure that teachers are doing as much as they can to protect the students. My daughter also tells me that the teacher makes her wash her hands first before leaving the building. I choose to trust my daughter.

5 stars is not enough for Grey Matter Montessori! Grey matter came highly recommended to me by my friends... and now i know why. Our daughter integrated so smoothly into the classroom, Reshma and Shirin were always there when i needed to call to see how my daughter was doing (yes i am one of those moms, and yes im also using my husband's gmail account). All the teachers are professional, kind, and caring. Our daughter would run into the classroom in the mornings and cry when she had to leave. The staff has been around since they opened which really says alot about Grey matter no turn around means a happy and positive environment for everyone. If you are looking for a school in the NW look no further. I can't say enough good things about Grey Matter. I think the most important thing to mention is that our daughter learned so much in such a short amount of time! Keep up the great work Grey Matter.. you are truly making a difference

Gray Matter Montessorie has by far exceeded all my expectations. The thought and care that has gone into our homeschooling is incredible. My child loves it and loves seeing his teachers! At this moment in time it is hard for me to get my child motivated but as soon as he knows that there is a class online he He shines with excitement. A great place for your kids to learn and have fun. The facility is beautiful and spacious. The teachers are very caring and genuinely interested in the well being of your child. The founders are very supportive and open to feedback. The parents teachers meetings are scheduled on a regular basis to discuss how your child is doing where you can hear about your child's strengths and development areas. The school communicates well with parents with regular briefings about upcoming themes and events. Overall an excellent experience !

Grey Matter Montessori has been an incredible community partner to Covenant Care for the last 3 years. Over the years, the students have come to visit our residents to share their talents and joie de vivre through performances, friendly visits and collaborative arts and crafts. The school has also invited our residents into their space, giving the residents the chance to contribute to the growth of their students. The opportunity they have given us to create inter-generational activities has been invaluable and has made a tremendous impact on the lives of the residents of Holy Cross Manor and St. Marguerite Manor.

Grey Matter Montessori is a great school and we are glad that our daughter went there. She was a very shy girl when she started a year ago and at the end she is very much different and she loved all the teachers at the school. All teachers are very caring and the directors respond to inquire on a timely manner, they provided great support for my daughter’s development. She just graduated and she already misses all the teachers and her friends. Thank you for everything you guys did.

The teachers and facility is the best we have ever been to. They truly care about their students and their families and have an amazing program. My wife and I had checked out several Montessori programs and originally went with one closer to home... changing and coming to Grey Matter Montessori was nothing short of a miraculous improvement on our overall experience. We can’t say enough praises for this school. Every Montessori school is different and Our 3 year old had a terrible experience with one Montessori school in the NW. We then found this one and our daughter attended for 2 years. She loved every moment at Grey Matter and as parents we are crying that our time here has come to an end. The teachers and staff are so caring and good educators. Amazing.

I wanted to wait till the end of they year to rate the school since I have had a really bad experience with another school we put my daughter in. But this school is really worth every cent. I not only see a difference in my daughter’s ability with words, and reading, but also in her confidence. She’s happy and curious, and wants to learn new things. The teachers are so great and they love your child like you would love them yourself. What a wonderful place to have your child learn and grow. My only regret is that I wasted my time at the other school when she could’ve been here from the beginning. We have built lasting friendships with the staff, the students, and the other parents. An absolutely fantastic experience. I’m so sad We cannot continue through her elementary education with the same staff. If I could give them more stars I would!! Keep up the good work!

My kids recently joined Grey Matter Montessori and they were welcomed with such love and kindness. The entire staff are so welcoming and so patient with the kids and parents lol too. I love that each child is celebrated for their uniqueness. This is my daughters second year with Grey Matter and we can't say enough great things about the program! The teachers are AMAZING and they truly go above and beyond the call of duty! Their experience and knowledge of children is phenomenal and you can tell they really pay attention to detail and know your child really well! We chose Grey Matter for our son because we liked the theory and approach of educating the whole child through various practices, materials and fun activities. As it’s been our son’s first experience with a school program, we were eager to see his development and response to the Montessori methods. He has gained many valuable skills and enjoys the social aspects. He is always excited to attend school, leaves happy and loves to tell us about his day. He especially loves his teachers and the special guests/programs for music, yoga and even the visit from the dentist! From a parent standpoint, I appreciate the attention given to each child, warmth and friendliness of staff and knowing my child’s education is being fostered for a great future.

I've seen huge changes in my niece that went to Grey Matter Montessori. She is now more focused on tasks, has learnt to clean up after herself and cannot wait to go to school! She especially loves martial arts, yoga and other activities that I'm not sure she will get anywhere else! Her all time favorite is learning Spanish and she loves showing off that she knows her fruits, vegetables, animals etc. Grey Matter Montessori is really commited to ensuring their students have a great foundation for their later years in academia!

It is a very good preschool. The teachers teach a lot of things in a wide range of topics and teach according to the progress of each child. However, there is no pressure on the children. I feel that it is very suitable for children who need to receive a good basic education from an early age.
